Summary: I am looking for a full time position as a Program Manager. Most of my career experience came in the Air Force, however since I’ve separated I continue to work for the government as a contractor installing High Frequency Towers.  Highly motivated to myself and my career. I am goal oriented and I still carry myself with all the core values I gained in the Air Force.

 

 

Qualifications:

Ø      7 1/2 years spent in the United States Air Force in the communications field

Ø      Security + certification (Expired Oct 2015)

Ø      Competent climber and rescue certified

Ø      Has current security clearance of Secret

Ø      2 years High Frequency Tower installation experience

Ø      Deployed Experience in Austere environments

 

Professional Experience:

Ø      Tower Technician Climber- Longwave Incorporated. August 2013- Current

·   Performs assessments on existing towers for further repair or replace

·   Installs coax cable for several types of antennas involved

·   Completes testing for coax cabling installed using test equipment

·   Works with civil crew to complete jobs in timely manner according to schedule

·   Knows equipment and tools needed to get the job done in the field

·   Installs grounding for entire antenna and test for fall potential

·   Coordinates with Air Force to accomplish deliverables on schedule

Ø      RF Transmissions Supervisor- RAF Croughton. November 2010-July 2013

·   Worked on satellite equipment supporting red seat commanders and mission

·   Coordinated with DISA in maintaining communications with deployed users

·   Lead team crew members in performing Performance Measurement Inspections

·   Repaired and replaced equipment when needed

·   Deployed for 6 months in austere conditions from this location

 

Ø      Radio Operator Journeyman- Scott AFB IL. August 2006-November 2010

·   Equipment trained on included High Frequency radios and antennas

·   Trained ANG/AFR members on in the field use of radio equipment for communications

·   Deployed twice from this location in support of Operation Enduring Freedom

·   Physical training leader for entire squadron, spearheaded PT sessions for over 80 Squadron members

 

 

Education:

·  Currently pursuing Project Management certification and PMP through University of Maryland University College

·  Associated Degree through Community College of the Air Force- 64 Credit hours completed

·  Six Week Airman Leadership School accomplished- October 2011
